Just when you thought it was safe to go back in the water. Talk about your genetic experiments gone wrong. In an cruel attempt to engineer "glowing bunnies" scientists combined the DNA of various species of rabbits with that of various species of jellyfish. Not only was this a bad idea to begin with, for glowing rabbits would be easy prey in the dark, but the scientists could not expect what would happen as a result of their tampering with nature. |

What did occur at first was ideed glowing and fury. But the original results were deceptive. The first experiments did not survive on land. The next batch faired no better as they could not survive in water. The third set thrived on land and sea, but the janitor accidentally cleaned their cages with bleach water which caused violent allergic reactions, wiping out the lot of them. As for the fourth and final group, they escaped into the wild blue of the Pacific Ocean while being tested one day. |

Sea Raetles are bad news, no two ways about it. They decimate kelp farms. They terrorize our beaches. Not only will they mercilessly sting their prey (big fish, small fish, dolphins, octopi, pelicans, humans) they will also naw incessantly on it before attempting to devour. The earth should be rid of these monstrosities, no matter how cute and cuddly they appear. Be not deceived, Sea Raetles are deadly predators and a threat to humanity. |
